Here is an Underwood Leader typewriter from the 1940s.  This typewriter operates very nicely, and it's in near mint condition cosmetically. It looks to have been professionally repainted at some point, along with replacement labels (I've never seen one of these with this color scheme, but maybe it's original). The keys are also not original from the factory, but this typewriter was re-done very professionally. The average person would have no idea that it was re-done a little. The inside of the case along with the outside is also in remarkable condition. This typewriter would be okay for heavy use, and perfect for the occasional letter writing.
