Up for sale is a beautiful Olympia SM4 which was made in Western Germany in 1959. This typewriter is in excellent shape both cosmetically and mechanically. There are only a few minor flaws in the paint and chrome, however this typewriter is still in awesome shape. Everything is fully functional, and I would highly recommend this typewriter for heavy and frequent use. Along with just about any other Olympia typewriter, the SM4 is a reliable workhorse that is also easy to use and take care of. When the time comes for a new ribbon, this typewriter does use universal ribbons which are sold on this site. This typewriter also comes with the original cleaning kit which includes two brushes and a cloth.
