The Olympia SM9 is a great machine overall. It looks nice, and it types nicely as well. This specific machine is in great condition, although the zipper on the leather case has an area along the right hand corner. However, the case still fully zips and does its job. There is some slight pitting on the carriage return knob, but overall, this typewriter is in really nice shape. If you want a reliable workhorse to write with, I'd highly recommend any Olympia, and this one in particular.
