Up for sale is this really nice Remington Quiet Riter which dates from 1956. The man who I bought it from said he first got it when he was in high school, and had kept it ever since. Luckily, he took very good care of it, and this typewriter is still in great condition. The Quiet Riter isn't anything special in terms of quietness, but it's definitely a workhorse without a doubt. The touch is very light and smooth, and I would definitely recommend this typewriter if you want a portable for heavy and frequent use.
