Up for sale is this beautiful Smith-Corona Coronet Automatic 12 electric typewriter. This typewriter is an extremely reliable portable electric typewriter, and would be perfect for heavy typing. You can't wimp out on pressing the spacebar, but as long as you hit it with nearly equal force as the keys, you will be able to reach a very high WPM with this machine! The 12 inch carriage comes in handy with larger pieces of paper, or writing landscape on a regular piece of printer paper. However, because this typewriter is quite large (and also fairly early on in the world of electrics) it is quite a heavy portable typewriter. It easily weighs about 25-30 pounds.
