Apothecary 1960s Smith-Corona Classic 12
Up for sale is a really neat and uncommon Smith-Corona Classic 12 with an apothecary keyboard, and an interesting font which I have never come across before. I have provided a type sample in the pictures. The Classic 12 itself is not a rare typewriter, but the fact that it has an apothecary keyboard with the font makes it very rare. This typewriter very likely was used to type prescription labels back in the 1960s-1970s.
Overall, this typewriter is in pretty good shape. The paint next to the keys is permanently stained to an off-white color, and the paint overall isn't perfect, but it could be a lot worse. This typewriter is still one hundred percent working, and is a very reliable workhorse which can still be used to write prescription labels if it was needed!
