1937 Remington Model 5 Streamline
Here's a stunning Remington Model 5 Streamline style typewriter which dates from 1937. This streamlined style of the Remington Model 5 represents the "Art Deco" style which faded after WWII. This typewriter is without a doubt in near mint condition, and is fully functional. The paint shines beautifully, and there's no rust anywhere on this typewriter. The case isn't in as nice of shape as the typewriter, but it has served its purpose in preserving this typewriter. The original handle is a little worn, and the latches were painted black at some point, that's about it. This typewriter is breathtaking, and there's not a great chance of finding one for sale in this kind of condition.
