Up for sale is a relatively uncommon Remington Portable Model 3 in a duo-tone gray and tan. The Model 3 isn't the rarity in the case, but the paint scheme is. This typewriter is fully working, although I wouldn't recommend it to be used heavily. The circular rubber pieces in between the typewriter and the four screws that hold the typewriter to the base have disintegrated, so the typewriter tends to move around a little bit, but other than that, there's not a whole lot to complain about on this typewriter. The platen knob must be pushed out for use, and then pushed back in for stowage. This also acts as a carriage lock, and is necessary for the typewriter to fit inside the case.
