Smith-Corona Sterlings are some of the most abundant typewriters found today, but for a very good reason. These models were made extremely well, are esthetically attractive, and can be used frequently with little wear. This particular machine is no exception. All functions are easily engaged, and this typewriter is a pleasure to use as it's such an easy machine to type on. Cosmetically, this machine is also in excellent condition. There are no scratches or chips in the paint, and the only flaw lies in some small ink stains across the body of the typewriter. In summary, this model was a reliable staple of the era of the typewriter that was a great choice both in function and cosmetics.
