Here's a really attractive Remington Quiet-Riter Eleven which dates from 1960. According to the Typewriter Database, these came standard in a French Grey color, with Desert Sage, Mist Green and White Sand available at extra charge. It's because of this fact that you don't see a whole lot of these in this color.
This typewriter is in great condition overall, although there is no carrying case.
The back of the typewriter is scratched up a bit, but overall, there's not a lot to complain about on this machine. Despite some of my experiences with other later Remington's, the typing action on this one is very smooth and enjoyable, making this typewriter fun and easy to operate. I would definitely recommend this one for heavy use, and if you don't need a typewriter with a carrying case, then this one would be a great fit.
