1969 Remington Travel-Riter
Up for sale is a French made Remington Travel-Riter circa 1969. This machine was missing its cover over the type-basket, but I was able to take one off of a gray Travel-Riter, and the gray and blue color idea seems to fit pretty well, since there are other areas on the front of the body (around the keyboard) that were originally and still are gray. This machine works pretty well, but the keys do need a little extra force and snappy-ness to operate smoothly. This machine would be a very reliable and durable typewriter for someone who wants to use this one heavily, but you'd definitely want strong fingers if you plan to write something long like a novel on this one. It's in decent shape cosmetically, but overall it looks like a nice machine.
