1940 Corona Zephyr Deluxe
Up for sale is a cool little Corona Zephyr Deluxe from 1940. The Zephyr Deluxe was made around the start of World War Two, making this model a popular one among war correspondents because of how portable this typewriter is. Although the body is metal, it's very thin, and this typewriter is very light. This typewriter is in decent shape. It's not in perfect condition cosmetically, and the case isn't in the greatest shape, but it still latches and does its job. The typewriter itself is fully functional, but I wouldn't want to use this one heavily. The ribbon tends to get a little loose and caught up by the ribbon vibrator if you don't strike the keys snappily. Once you get used to how to use this machine, it is kind of fun to use, but this wouldn't be a great first-time typewriter.
