Up for sale is a Swedish-made Blue Facit TP2 which dates from 1968. This typewriter has been in my collection for a few years now, mostly because of the fact that I brought this machine all the way back from Hawaii. I found it at an antique shop while I was on vacation, and brought it all the way back home to Pennsylvania. This can be confirmed by the service shop sticker on the back of the typewriter, which was from a shop in Hilo, Hawaii. This typewriter is in near mint shape, and works perfectly. The typing action feels quite different from most typewriters, but I can say that I am a fan of it. This typewriter is extremely reliable, and this one would be great for heavy and frequent use. The case is a bit wide, so it's not exactly the most portable, but the fact that I had no issues bring this one back on a plane should tell you that it can be done! The metal pieces on the case (latches especially) are rusted, but they still have no trouble doing their job. This typewriter also comes with a ribbon in a box, although it looks to be a little old and probably can't be used, but I am including it in this sale nonetheless.
