Here's a cool little blue Brother Opus 899 typewriter which was made in Japan in 1970. This typewriter is in near mint condition without a doubt. The blue paint is in amazing shape, with little to complain about in terms of wear. Everything works without any issues except for the repeat spacer which tends to stick, although it's not a critical part since the tab key or carriage release keys can be used (most machines don't even have a repeat spacer.) The typewriter writes very nicely, and the typing action is surprisingly smooth and enjoyable to use. If you're looking for a machine to write with quite a bit, keep in mind that this typewriter is extremely reliable and can definitely be used heavily and frequently. The case is also in exceptional condition.
