Up for sale is a nice Facit 1620 with a 12 inch carriage. This typewriter was made in Sweden sometime in the early 1970s (production for the 1620 was during 1969-1973) This typewriter is in great working condition, but unfortunately it does not have its carrying case. The extra wide carriage is handy in writing on larger sized papers, however it does take up a little more room. This typewriter would be ideal on a desk, especially because it does not have a case. Cosmetically, the typewriter has a few small flaws, but it's not the prettiest typewriter to begin with. However, the typing action on this machine is very smooth and reliable. This typewriter can be used very frequently and heavily. If you're looking for a workhorse, then this one would be a great one to use to fulfill your typing needs.
