1941 Royal Arrow
Up for sale is a beautiful Royal Arrow which was made in America in 1941. This model is one of the most popular from the early and mid 1940s, and it represents the style of the '40s well. This particular typewriter is in near mint shape, and types wonderfully. The paint and labels are in great shape, and the metal (with exception to the metal inside the type basket) shines nicely. The Arrow, along with other Royals of the era, types very smoothly. It's an easy model to use, and although it is on the older side, it can still be used frequently. The next year, Royal began producing US Navy Royal "Mill" typewriters (The same exact model, although painted differently) which were mainly used to transcribe radio messages. In 1944, all Royal Portable production halted until production resumed in 1946.
