Up for sale is a nice Olympia SM9 which was made in Western Germany in 1965. This typewriter is a very great machine for heavy writing. The mechanism is very smooth, yet solid, and it's very reliable. The typewriter is fully functional, and is in great condition inside and out. When the time comes for a new ribbon, this model does use universal ribbons which are readily available and are for sale on this website. Overall, this typewriter is perfect for heavy and frequent use, and is a true workhorse. If you're looking for a portable for frequent typing, this is the one for you.
