Here's a nice little Olympia Socialite which was made in Western Germany in 1963. This typewriter is in fair shape overall, but it has a few flaws that can be pointed out. The emblems seem to be surrounded in a little bit of glue, and there is some engraving on the right side of the cover (see 5th picture). Also, the base of the typewriter has quite a lot of surface rust that I wasn't able to remove, and although it is an eye-sore, it really isn't hurting anything, and it is clean despite its appearance. Despite these flaws, this typewriter is fully functional and is quite a nice machine to use despite its small size. If portability is important, then this machine is definitely one of the best options.
