Up for sale is a nice Sears Forecast 12 which was actually manufactured by Smith-Corona in the late 1960s/early 1970s. This machine is in fair shape overall, although the paint has several little scratches on the main cover. The twelve inch carriage makes this typewriter very useful for larger sheets of paper or typing landscape-wise on a regular piece of 8 x 11 printer paper. Since this model was actually made by Smith-Corona, the mechanism is very solid and reliable, and so this machine can be used very heavily and reliably despite its plastic and rather cheap look. This typewriter also comes with the original owners manual.
