Up for sale is a Royal Quiet Deluxe which was made in 1953. This typewriter is in decent cosmetic condition, but it has a few flaws. Some of the metal on this machine is slightly pitted or otherwise worn, however the machine is fully functional and works great. The Quiet Deluxe was a popular model, and still continues to be a favorite among many writers and novelists. This typewriter uses universal ribbons, and is very easy to use and maintain. If you're looking for a typewriter that isn't perfect cosmetically, but can be used frequently and heavily, then this is probably one of the best options for the price.
