Up for sale is an absolutely stunning Remington Model 5 Streamline which was manufactured in 1937. This typewriter is in amazing shape especially considering how old it is, and it is fully functional down to the bell. Although I would not really recommend this typewriter for heavy use, it can definitely be used here and there. The only complaint for this machine is that I had to put tape over the handle because the original leather handle was degraded to the point where your hand would be covered with black disintegrated leather pieces after carrying it around. Otherwise, this machine is a perfect example of the Art Deco style which was popular in the 1930s. If you're looking for a great showpiece of a typewriter that can still be used, then this is without a doubt the best choice.
