Up for sale is a really nice looking Royal Sabre which was made in Portugal sometime in the 1970s. This typewriter is in near mint condition minus some scratches on the plastic pieces on the carriage (see all pictures).
This machine really represents the era in which it was made. The same type of body design was used on slightly older Royal models in the 1960s (mainly the Safari and Custom) although this one has some woodgrain thrown in. This Sabre is fully functional and can definitely be used heavily. This typewriter does use universal ribbons which are sold on this site. The case is also in great shape although there is a very tiny dent in the back left-hand corner. This machine also has a few extra papers which were originally included when the typewriter was purchased.
