Up for sale is an attractive duo-tone Smith-Corona Coronet Electric 10 which was made sometime in the 1960s. This typewriter is fully operational except for the "1" / "!" key, however this isn't a huge deal because the 1 key can easily be substituted with the lower case L key. In fact, 75% of typewriters didn't have a 1 key because the lower case L does the job just fine. Also, the exclamation mark can be substituted just like the 1 key by typing a period, backspacing, then typing an apostrophe. It may be hard to imagine on a computer, but on this typewriter, the result is just about identical to what you would want. Other than that one key, everything on this typewriter works perfectly, and this typewriter can definitely be used heavily and reliably. Universal ribbons fit this typewriter. This typewriter is very heavy, but it's probably one of the easiest machines to use.
