Up for sale is an absolutely stunning Smith-Corona Super-G which was manufactured in England sometime in the early 1970s. The Super-G was designed by Karmann Ghia, so naturally it looks exactly like a sports car version of a typewriter. The lid has racing stripes, and the base of the machine has rubber tire treads instead of rubber feet. The lid also features the Ghia logo, really topping it off. This model was made in blue, brown, and orange. Overall, this typewriter is in really exceptional shape both cosmetically and mechanically. This typewriter is fully functional, and works perfectly. Unfortunately it can't use universal ribbons which are sold on this site, but a Smith-Corona Corsair Deluxe ribbon will work perfectly (there are plenty for sale on eBay). If you're looking for a machine to write a novel on, then this wouldn't be my first choice, however it's still good for heavy and frequent use. The real highlight of this machine is it's amazing design.
