1935 Underwood Universal
Here's a nice Underwood Universal which was made in 1935. This typewriter is in amazing shape for its age, although it's not in mint shape. The nickel plating has an amazing authentic patina, and the labels are just slightly worn. The paint is in really great shape with little to no imperfections whatsoever. It does appear that the forward frame was warped a bit from left to right (by the keyboard) although it's very minor and otherwise there is no signs of damage or abuse. Amazingly, all of the rubber parts (platen, feed rollers, and even rubber feet) are completely in tact and won't be wearing out for awhile. Universal ribbons do fit this machine. This typewriter is fully functional, and although I do not recommend using this one really heavily, it can still be used pretty often.
