Here's a wonderful Olympia SM9 which was manufactured in Western Germany in 1970. This typewriter is in excellent to near mint shape, although it has a few scuffs from the carriage return lever. Otherwise, this typewriter is in amazing shape. Everything is fully functional, and very solid overall. The SM9 is one of my favorite portables to write with, and this one is no exception. The SM9 is also an easy machine to use and maintain, partly because it uses universal ribbons. This typewriter also comes with the cleaning kit (the only thing left is a cleaning cloth) and some typewriter cleaner for the typebars. If you're looking for a beautiful, solid, and reliable typewriter to use for long periods of time, then this is one of the best choices on the market.
