Up for sale is a Royal Futura 400 which was made in 1960. This typewriter is not in great shape cosmetically, however it is fully functional. The paint is pretty badly scratched and scuffed, however it wouldn't be a bad one to repaint if you wish. This typewriter does use universal ribbons, and is extremely easy to use and maintain. I would recommend this one for heavy use, and so this typewriter would be a great choice for a writer on a budget who doesn't care as much about looks or cosmetic shape as they do about functionality and reliability.
