Up for sale is a beautiful Olympia SM3 which was made in Western Germany in 1955. The SM3 is another one of my favorite portables mainly because of the amount of quality put into this piece of German workmanship. This typewriter is extremely solid and reliable, and is ideal for heavy and frequent typing. Everything is in near mint shape on this machine, from the crinkle paint finish to the sparkling chrome. This SM3 is also fully functional right down to the bell, and would be perfect for heavy use as mentioned. This machine does use universal ribbons which are for sale on this site. Overall, the SM3 is a great workhorse that is will not disappoint.
