In general, this model of Royals is a pleasure to type on, and this specific machine is no exception; it really is a joy to use. Additionally, 1940s Royal exemplify the classic black-with-glass-keys style of typewriters while still being light, portable, and fairly easy to find parts for; they really combine the styles of pre-World War II typewriters with the ease of post-World War II typewriters.
