Up for sale is a beautiful Royal Quiet Deluxe which was manufactured just after the end of WWII, in 1946. This typewriter is in great shape overall, especially for its age. The case shows normal signs of wear to be expected, but it's done its job in keeping the typewriter in the condition it's in. This Royal is fully functional right down to the bell, and is a joy to use. Not sure if I would use this one to write something like a novel, however it can be used pretty frequently and reliably despite being 70 years old. This model uses universal ribbons, and put along with the fact that owner manuals that can easily be found online, this machine is very easy to use and care for.
