1950s Tom Thumb Toy Typewriter

Here's a toy typewriter made in the 1950s by Tom Thumb. While this typewriter is in great condition, and it operates fully as it should, it's still a toy, and I wouldn't recommend it for much typing. I installed a new full-black ribbon, but the machine requires a lot of force to actually get the letters to print fully . The Overall, it's just not a machine to use heavily. The letters only print in caps, so there's no lower case letters. However, I would highly recommend this machine if your child has been nagging you for a typewriter, but you feel that they're too young to take care of and use a real, more expensive typewriter.
