1960s Smith-Corona Super Sterling
Up for sale is a nice green Smith-Corona Super Sterling which was made sometime in the mid-to-late 1960s. This typewriter is in near mint shape overall, with very few flaws. Everything is functional on this typewriter right down to the bell, and this typewriter is extremely fun to type with. This typewriter features SCM's most modern mechanism for their portable manual typewriters, and it is in my opinion their most reliable and best overall. The mechanism is very responsive and snappy, and it's possible to write with this machine for hours. Included with this typewriter is the original instructions manual booklet (which is a bit battered, but still very much readable), two keys for the case (which is strange because you only need one), and a few extra papers which originally came with the typewriter. This typewriter uses universal ribbons which are sold on this site. All-in-all, if you're looking for an excellent workhorse in near mint shape to use heavily, look no further.
