1960s Smith-Corona Electra 110
Up for sale is a nice Smith-Corona Electra 110 which was made sometime in the 1960s. This typewriter is in near mint shape, with pretty much nothing to complain about. Everything works perfectly, including the bell. Because this is an electric machine, the touch required to press a key is extremely light compared to other typewriters- in fact it's more like a computer, however you still get to her the genuine sound of a typewriter typing, and you still get to manually return the carriage. This typewriter uses universal ribbons, making it easy to keep this machine writing. Unfortunately there aren't any manuals online for the Electra, but it has a similar layout to a SCM Galaxie or a Classic 12. If you're more into Electric portables for heavy use, then this would be a perfect work horse to tackle the job.
