Up for sale is a Smith-Corona Clipper which was manufactured in 1951. This typewriter is a classic no-frills SCM from the '50s, although this one has a few cosmetic issues, so it's being sold at a lower price than it would normally sell for. Unfortunately some of the chrome is flaking off the two metal pieces/plates near the type guides (see 4th picture). Additionally, there is a yellow sticker/label that did not come off with the usual products that I use to remove such things. I did not try extremely hard, however, in order to avoid damaging the crinkle paint. Other than that, the typewriter is in good shape all-around. The typewriter is an excellent typer, and is fully functional right down to the bell. A user manual can be downloaded here: http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/SC1950s.pdf. This typewriter is extremely easy to use and care for, and uses universal ribbons which are sold on this website.
Overall, if you don't mind the few cosmetic flaws this machine has, you're getting an excellent machine that can be used heavily.
