Up for sale is a Royal Quiet Deluxe which was made in America in 1953. This typewriter was one of Royal's most popular portable typewriters, and went along with the Royal HH desktop, with very similar looks. This Quiet Deluxe is in great shape overall, and is fully functional right down to the bell. Cosmetically, this typewriter is pretty impressive with not much to complain about. Mechanically, everything works without any issues except for the 2 rear latches inside the case. There are 2 front latches that hold the typewriter in, however the 2 in the rear do not line up properly. The typewriter is still secure inside the case with 2/4 latches securing it, just be gentle in handling the case as you should anyways. This typewriter is an excellent machine for heavy use, particularly because this typewriter is extremely reliable and smooth to operate. This typewriter comes with the original owner's manual. Universal ribbons fit this machine and can be purchased on this website.
