Up for sale is an uncommon Pink Smith-Corona Silent-Super which was made in America in 1955. The Silent-Super itself is not an uncommon machine, however it is not everyday that you see one in pink, and especially not in this good of condition. This typewriter is pretty much near mint both cosmetically and mechanically. The original bubblegum crinkle paint is clean and looks a lot better than the standard tan or grey paint finishes. Mechanically, this typewriter is fully functional right down to the bell. This typewriter is also an excellent workhorse and is a very smooth and reliable typer. Not only is it great to write with, but it's also easy to use and maintain. This typewriter uses universal ribbons which are sold on this site, and the owner's manual can be downloaded for free here: http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/SC1958.pdf. The original carrying case is also in remarkably good shape, and is very clean.
