Up for sale is a Remington Quiet-Riter which was made in 1957. This Quiet-Riter is in excellent shape overall, and is fully functional right down to the bell. The paint finish is in good condition without any major scratches or areas of missing paint, however some of it is slightly stained and off-color, although it's only noticeable in the right light. Mechanically, this typewriter is very solid and is an excellent machine to write with. I'd definitely recommend it for heavy and frequent use. This typewriter is pretty easy to use and care for, however this machine does not have interchangeable spools- instead the ribbon itself is threaded to "built-in" spools, which makes things a bit more challenging, but still very manageable. Universal ribbons can be used for this typewriter, however keep in mind that the spools will not be used- only the ribbon itself.
