Up for sale is a beautiful Remington Quiet-Riter which was manufactured in 1958. This typewriter is in near mint condition, and is fully functional right down to the bell. The grey paint has very few scratches, and has an attractive glossy shine. The labels are all crisp and completely in tact- even at the rear of the machine. This typewriter is an excellent typer, and is very smooth and reliable. If you're looking for a workhorse to do some heavy writing with, then this is an excellent option. The touch is light and snappy, allowing for an extremely fast WPM especially if you're already used to writing with a manual typewriter. This typewriter has Remington's built-in spool design for the ribbon, so it does not use interchangeable spools. However, you can take the ribbon from the universal spools sold on this site and thread them into the typewriter just as I have done. This typewriter also comes with a cover (not pictured) to prevent particles from the material lining in inside of the case from collecting on the surface of the typewriter.
