Up for sale is a Royal Model P which was manufactured in 1927. This typewriter is being sold as-is because of its condition, however it wouldn't take too much work to restore this typewriter so that it could be used and fully functional. The biggest thing that would need to be done is freeing up the keys. Most are frozen in place because the type-basket is rusted. With the proper tools and equipment, the rust could be removed, and the typewriter could be cleaned and this typewriter would work fine. Otherwise, this typewriter is a good decoration piece. I do not believe the keytops are original, and some are missing the metal rings. Everything on this typewriter is functional minus the typebars being mostly frozen. This typewriter does not have a base (which it would be screwed to) or the lid/case. If you're looking for a Royal Model P parts machine, or a decoration, or a restoration project, this is a great typewriter to go with!
