Up for sale is a pretty little Corona Zephyr Deluxe which was manufactured in 1938. This typewriter is in fully functional shape right down to the bell, and is an excellent typer for its small size. Because of its light weight and portability, this typewriter was a favorite among war correspondents in WWII and even Korea. This typewriter's serial number is extremely low (1Y 2584)- signifying that this typewriter was produced very early on in the Zephyr Deluxe's production run. The only thing lacking on this typewriter is that it's missing the ribbon spool covers- however that is only cosmetic. The crinkle paint finish is in great shape, as are the labels.
This typewriter only uses a single color ribbon, and does not use universal spools. You will need to buy a ribbon specifically for the Zephyr or Zephyr Deluxe (either will work, and are readily available on eBay, Amazon, or Etsy).
