Up for sale is a Smith-Corona Galaxie Twelve in near mint shape. This machine was manufactured in 1975. Cosmetically, this typewriter is just about as perfect as they come. The hinge on the carrying case has a little bit of rust, however this is the only cosmetic flaw this typewriter has. Mechanically, this typewriter is just as perfect, and is fully functional right down to the bell. Just as the other late Smith-Corona manuals are, this typewriter is a beast and makes for an excellent typer. Equipped with a slightly wider, 12-inch carriage, this typewriter can type lengthwise on standard 8 x 11 papers with ease. If you're looking for a workhorse to write something such as a novel on, then this is a great option. This typewriter also comes with some extra papers, including the original owner's manual. This typewriter is also extremely easy to learn to use and care for, and uses universal ribbons which are sold on this website.
