Up for sale is a sharp-looking Olympia Olympiette 2 which was manufactured in 1977. This typewriter was most likely manufactured in Germany, however similar later Olympia machines were also made in Yugoslavia, and Japan. This particular typewriter is in near mint shape. The orange paint looks beautiful, and makes this machine really pop. The white trim running on either side of the machine makes this one look especially unique. Not only does this machine look excellent, it's also a great machine to use. Everything on this typewriter works perfectly, right down to the bell. Despite this typewriter's small size and relatively light weight, it's an excellent typewriter that could definitely be used heavily and reliably. Just as just about all Olympia typewriters are, this typewriter is a superior typer and is very smooth and trusty. It's also an easy machine to use and care for, and uses universal ribbons which are sold on this site. There is no owner's manual available for this machine anywhere online (in part possible due to the relative rarity of this machine) however this machine's older sibling's manual can be found here: http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/OlympiaTraveller.pdf.
