Up for sale is a nice Smith-Corona Classic 10 which was manufactured around 1971. This typewriter is in perfect working shape, however it has a few cosmetic flaws which offer this excellent workhorse available at a great discount to what it would normally demand. The Classic 10 is a no-frills machine, however it was made to get the job done. It's not strikingly attractive compared to other typewriters, however it's a superior workhorse. It's also very easy to use and care for, and uses universal ribbons which are sold on this site. Cosmetically, there are some scratches on the left half of the typebasket cover from someone trying to raise the cover with the carriage return lever still looming over it. There's also some yellow paint on the lower front-right side of the body.
If you're looking for an excellent typer for heavy and frequent use at a fair price point, then this is a great machine to call your own.
