1968 Olivetti Lettera 32
Up for sale is a nice Olivetti Lettera 32 which was manufactured in Barcelona, Spain in 1968. This typewriter is in good shape cosmetically and mechanically, however the carrying case is not functional. The bottom zipper has been removed the case, so the case is unable to be closed. I figured this was a better alternative than throwing out the case altogether, since the machine can still be carried inside its case normally, you just have to keep the base against your leg as its carried.
Other than the case, this machine is fully functional right down to the bell, and is an excellent typer. This machine types in elite font (12 characters per inch rather than 10) so the font is slightly smaller than normal. Universal ribbons do not fit this machine, however the original metal spools can be re-thread, otherwise any Olivetti portable ribbons can be purchased for this machine when the time comes.
This typewriter also comes with a Olivetti dust cover, a cleaning kit which includes 3 brushes, and a guarantee/warranty card which was never written in or used.
If you're looking for a nice reliable typewriter to use heavily and frequently, then this is a good option.
