1960s Tan Baldwin Portable
Here's a semi-rare Baldwin typewriter from the 1960s. These were made in Czechoslovakia under a few different names; Baldwin as the American import. The most well known is Consul, but the machine is virtually the same. The design is very slim, making the typewriter lightweight, even though it's mostly made up of metal. The case is slightly worn, and you have to really stretch it to close the case with the typewriter in it, but it still does its job. I wouldn't recommend this machine for long periods of typing, (like a novel) but it does work well. If you want a machine to travel with, this would be an option for sure.
