1976 Olympia Traveller
Up for sale is an Olympia Traveller which was manufactured in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia in 1976. This typewriter was one of Olympia's last manual portable typewriters that was manufactured, and has a unique modern look to it. This machine is in excellent condition, with the only flaw being the upper rear body being slightly deformed and the folding paper support arm not being functional. Cosmetically, the typewriter is in near mint shape, and is extremely clean. Mechanically, this typewriter is also nearly perfect, and is fully functional right down to the bell. This typewriter is one of the best “ultra-portable” models, and is pretty lightweight with a low profile. Despite its low profile, this typewriter is an excellent machine to write with, and has a very smooth and reliable touch. This is one of the best small portables to use frequently and heavily, so if you’re looking for a smaller machine that can still be used a lot, this is perfect. ‘
