1963 Royal Royalite '64
Up for sale is a nice little Royal Royalite '64 which was made in Holland in 1963. This typewriter was one of the last models that was made with this body style, which began with the original Royalite which did not have a ribbon color selector. Luckily, this model does.
Condition-wise, this typewriter is in excellent shape. The body and paint are in great shape, with very few cosmetic flaws. The vinyl case does have some stains despite being cleaned, but it latches and does its job as it should.
Mechanically, this typewriter is fully functional right down to the bell- although the bell is rather quiet. This typewriter isn't the best typewriter to use for extremely heavy use, however it still types pretty decently for its size and weight.
This machine is extremely easy to use, and uses universal ribbons which are sold on this site. The owner's manual can be downloaded for free here: http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/Royalite.pdf
If you're in the market for a smaller, less expensive ultra-portable that can still be used frequently and reliably, then this is an excellent option.
