1964 Underwood 18
Up for sale is a neat Underwood 18, which was made in Italy in 1964. This machine is extremely similar mechanically to the Antares Parva- with the only real differences being the body shell and case. This typewriter is in excellent shape all around, and is fully functional right down to the bell. It has very few cosmetic flaws, and is a great typer for how small and portable it is. The leather carrying case is also in great shape, with the zippers being fully in-tact and functional. Also included is the original owner's manual. Universal ribbons which are sold on this site fit this machine perfectly.
This typewriter wouldn't be my first choice for writing something such as a novel, but it can still be used as a daily workhorse.
If you're looking for a somewhat unique portable from the '60s that can still be used somewhat heavily and reliably, then this is a great option.
