Whether you're a typewriter enthusiast, a marketing geek, or both- this poster is a great addition to any wall.
Each advertisement was digitally scanned in very high quality from the original paper they were printed on- which come from a variety of different sources (mostly magazines) between 1892 and 1927. The majority of the ads feature very rare typewriters from the turn of the century. During this period, many different designs were being manufactured by many different companies- All with the aim to be dominant in the typewriter market.
It's really interesting to spend some time looking deeply into each of these advertisements- to enjoy the Victorian-Era visuals, to read the claims and slogans of the different companies, and to of course see the vast amount of ingenuity involved in so many different machines that all accomplished the same thing- some much better than others.
These posters are only available in 24" x 36" in either a horizontal or vertical version of your choice. The posters are both printed on "premium matte" paper.
