1961 Royal Futura 800
Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful Royal Futura 800 which was made in America in 1961. This typewriter is in excellent shape all around, and is fully functional right down to the bell. I do have reason to believe that the red typebasket cover was repainted, however it was done professionally, judging by the quality of the paint and the quality of the job. This machine is one of the most attractive post-war machines, and is an all around excellent workhorse as well. The carrying case is also in excellent shape, aside from the original handle being replaced with a makeshift one.Universal ribbons fit this typewriter perfectly and are available on this site. This typewriter is very easy to use and maintain, with the help of the owner's manual which is also included along with the original unpacking instructions.
